Bennichan Lukose - Founder
It is known that everyone has been influenced by someone to pursue a certain upright and upstanding path in life. Who all are that persons? And how did they influence Bennichan Lukose?
As a child, Bennichan struggled mentally and emotionally, as well as physically, but eventually came to terms with his disability and started his life. It was then Maria who came to his life and that was a reality she accepted with strength of mind and strength of character. She continues to endure his illness with great fortitude. And today, in joyful unison, both Bennichan and Maria lead a happy married life; as Maria Bennichan believes that emotional support is about helping to lift her life partner to higher ground so he can see his way through the difficulty.
It was during this period, Bennichen found his life to be a vocation and he knew that the treasure is buried in a field, the pearl of great price. The grace is in the calling and he was determined to pursue it at whatever the cost and he sets his voyage and in his journey he found ways to open up God’s will for him.
In the year 2000, with the help of Changanacherry Arch Dioceses Social Services Society, popularly known as “CHASS, he started a Book Binding Unit at his residence.
In 2002, Lions Clubs International Vice President Lion Fukoshima visited Kerala and laid the foundation stone for his dream project “Haven”. Bennichen since then and until today put his blood, sweat and tears and continue to make progress in this division.
His actions has now started inspiring others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more and thus the quality of a leader is now distinctively being proven by him.
